Hi, I’m Yeukai.
I have been passionate about baking for as long as I can remember. I was that kid who consistently makes a mess in the kitchen and never follows mother’s recipes. I simply preferred to combine my own ingredients and surprisingly people always loved my novelty sometimes outrageous concoctions.
I followed this passion to create a trusted , well known and trend setting business in the heart of Cape Town, Yeu Cakes.
Yeu Cakes the Business
It started by simply sharing baked goods – with family, friends and neighbours just over the fence. Today Yeu Cakes is baking and delivering baked goods around Cape Town
I find a lot of inspiration in the age-old art and beauty of baking as it takes me back to a place of childhood joy, and the bliss of youth. The long-standing , tried and tested but still much beloved traditional recipes will forever hold a beautiful place at Yeu Cakes, rightfully so as my customers are always happy with a slice from t the good old chocolate / vanilla cake.
